People often ask us how long it takes to make one knife. There is no definite answer to that. Each knife has its time of conception, it has a period when a finished blade may wait, sometimes even for several years, until its day comes. The day when I precisely know what additional material this blade is asking for. In the case of this knife, it was the opposite. Mammoth inlays waited a long time for the perfect damascus pattern that would be worthy of them. And so our knife of the year was created – a mosaic damascus, stabilized mammoth bone, silver, cowhide. The knife was made as a thank you through Startlab. We hereby thank everyone who helps us fulfill our dream.
